Antibes is a very prosperous town midway between Nice and Cannes. Very popular as a holiday destination, Antibes and Juan Les Pins are delightfully well kept and attractive destinations. The complete name is Antibes-Juan-les-Pins.
Just 14 miles from Nice, and only 25 minutes by train, Antibes is perfectly placed for visiting Nice and Cannes. The coastline extends for nearly 20 miles, with nearly 50 beaches.
The town is full of shopping opportunities, and a vast array of restaurants. At the marina, visitors will see a host of fabulous boats and yauchts. There are several museums to visit, including the Picasso Museum, which houses one of the world’s best collections of his works.
The summers are long and hot, and the winters sunny and mild, a wonderful holiday destination at any time of the year. Absolutely perfect as a holiday base, with the advantage of quick access to Nice and Cannes.
