Visitor to Nice always take one or more day trips to Monaco. There is an express bus from Nice, but the slower coastal route is very pretty, and worth taking. Especially at a price of less than two Euros return. There is also a fast train service.
Most visitors head for the casino (remember to take your passport). Visitors will be struck by how clean and tidy Monte Carlo is. A favourite pastime is to sit on a pavement bar, sip a glass of chilled white wine, and count how many Bentley and Rolls Royce you see drive by.
